My therapeutic orientation and specialized training includes mindfulness, somatic exploration (body awareness), transpersonal psychotherapy, and practical approaches to support you in feeling confident in yourself and at peace with life. In addition to providing psychotherapy, I have served as a wilderness guide, eco-therapist, vocal coach, meditation teacher, and instructor at the Integrative Mental Health program at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM).
The clients I work with are open to exploring areas of life where they are stuck, in pain from trauma, or dissatisfied with their life choices. They are willing to experiment with new ideas and behaviors and think deeply about life goals and values. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process involving open communication and trust. My commitment is to be curious, present, and always encouraging.
